Missoni in the Museum of everything.

Missoni's SS11 collection shot by Juergen in Museum of everything.  I thought the shoot was so cool. The collection definitely looks interesting, exciting choice of fabrics and prints.

How Cute...

These hats from Goya's A/W11 collection are just so cute, they would bring so much character to any outfit, not to mention will surely cheer up that dull winter mood. Oh and check out the horse hair broaches.. definitely an accessory for the races and even if like me, your more than likely not to be attending any races, you can just pretend. re-enact the movie pretty woman LOL.

Pretty eye catching....

Clearly I've got an eye out for Haute couture at the moment... This butterfly collar from Valentino's SS11  (Paris fashion week, Haute couture show) caught my eye and kept my gaze. It may not be something to actually wear out but is so pretty..

To be respected in the future its only right to acknowledge the past! :-)

This shoot was first published in Paris 1969 and exhibited in London for the first time in December 2010, so gutted I missed it. Photographed by Jean Clemmer exploring fantasy, sensuality and haute couture in Paris.  I just Love the images... Absolutely amazing

As Spring approaches

Browsing through the current issue of Harpers Bazaar, I came across some pieces from the New York spring 2011 collection:

I feel like they're really going back to the seventies with the cut on these flares but also appreciating the current times with the design.

Rodarte.   When described, this look has been linked with the Brady Bunch, I totally agree and think it's so cute.

Emilio De Morena.  Im really not a lover of the colour blue, however I am in all favour of this canvas (lol).. The combination of materials and tie dye, the ruffles, the shape. Its confused but yet so together.

Reminiscent of my all time favourite era in fashion, the sixties with a vibe of the nineties .  I love the boldness that the simple colours of black and white have created, whilst the over all look still maintains a laid back demeanour.

Thakoon Panichgul.   I thought this possessed innocence without boredom. Also it reminded me of the fantasy theme we are going for in our next shoot, on a more casual day to day wear approach.
