Still speaking on fantasy...

Unfortunately I couldn't get the name of the artist for this piece of work, however I had to share because I just loved everything about it.

Title: Candy Floss fantasies

Alice in Wonderland Under Water

This shoot by Elena Kalis caught my eye. I loved the idea of Alice in wonderland under water and that it featured a child model. it is unlike the typical Alice in Wonderland inspired shoots which are usually shot in an area of green and woods. The child's innocence brings a subtle edge to the images which I really liked.  The idea of this shoot demonstrates fearless and experimental creativity.

Photographers Fantasy

Ellen Von Unwerth

Tim Walker

These are the works of two of my favourite fashion photographers, Tim Walker and particularly Ellen Von Unwerth.  Researching the theme of fantasy, I came across these images and absolutely loved them.   So intriguing and eye catching, these images have a classic and dreamy air about them, but also possess a rawness  to them.  The edgy contrast between the locations, characters and mood etc gets a enthusiastic thumbs up from me.

HOLLY SUAN GRAY

Holly Suan Gray is the most amazing stylist!!! I am in love with all of her work. After browsing her website i found some gorgeous fantasy like images, that i found very inspiring as our next shoot will be based around fantasy. Here are the images, they are gorgeous:

Do you believe in Fairy tales

The fairytale is make believe, eccentricity and escapism at its best.  The essence of the fairytale lies in fashion. We can dream up outfits and indulge in characters through our clothes and accessories. Each day it is up to us who we want to be. The editorial element of fashion takes the theme of the fairytale even further, captivating its audience like the images above, (1st and 2nd images by photographer Tim Walker and 3rd and 4th images by Solve Sundso).
