GFW: Day 3 Catwalk shows

Today was another crazy day at graduate fashion week, rushing around trying to catch all the shows. I got to see 3 shows today, International, Liverpool and Nottingham Trent. Again the shows were amazing, loved most of the collections, its taken me ages to pick out the best ones, but here they are (well i my opinion) :)

(Apologise for the picture quality, really need to invest in a new camera, but look up the designers anyway i'm sure your get better images, but at least you will get the idea from her)

Nottingham trent

This was my favourite collection out of all the ones i saw today, the deep red with the drapery and the big shoulders, it completely blew me away, it was amazing. I have never seen an all red collection, but i'm glad i have now because this was fantastic, the red really brings this collection alive.

I am such a huge fan of leather, so when i see collections like this, i automatically fall in love. Very matrix but sexy, i love every look!

Joanna Woods

This collection stood out to me as all the models had butterflies in their mouthes, it just reminded ne of the film the butterfly affect. I think it really wrapped up the collection.

Anneliese Hatt

This collection was HOT, the way the catwalk was layered out really did the collection justice, right down to the choice of music, i really felt the female dominance watching this, and the leathers, structured shoulders and full length dresses reinforced this.

Lauren Dickinson-Clarke

LOVED this collection, it reminded me of a sexy astronaut. If I was visiting the moon, I would want to wear this.

The knits in this collection are amazing, love the mix of orange and khaki then the throw. The balaclavas give it that extra edge a very memorable collection!

This collection was stunning, i love the neck pieces, they are stunning, definitely a collection that stood out, i first noticed this designer in the exhibition, but seeing it on the catwalk really blew me away.
Lauren Schofield

Wow! So many ruffle and pastel colours, so girly but not. Love the way the designer has manages to put pastel colours and ruffles together whilst still giving an edge to the collection and not making it overly girly, it was great.

This collection was stunning, I dont normally like white with cream, but in this collection it worked so well. Quite futuristic/spacey feel, which i've been seeing a lot over GFW

This collection was definitely a surprise, when i saw all the models come out holding these massive umbrellas with tassels to the floor, they were amazing and very memorable. The clothes underneath looked quite futuristic and loved the white against the black, just wish they models moved the umbrellas so we could have a good look at what they were wearing.

There is so much going on with this collection, theres checks, polka dots and florals, but its put together so fantastically it completely works, its a very exciting combo. The quality also looked amazing, really great show!

(Most images have been changed and updated with images taken from catwalking.com due to poor quality)

Wow, the catwalk shows. Today i saw Epsom, De Montfort and Kingston and I loved them, the standard was so high! Again I cant show you all of them as much as I would  love to, so the ones that stood out the most have been selected, I hope you like!

P.S apologies for the sideways videos, I couldn't work out how to rotate them, if anyone knows, please let me know so i can do so. Thanks :)

Epsom University

Loved his collection by Anna Melkova, the leather with the gold chains are right up my street, ribbed knitwear and sheer animal print dresses gave the collection that extra edge. Defo a fav of the day!
